Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Nazha Abo Hindi stated that the Ministry has commenced work on diverting the sewerage extension in Block 109 in Hidd.
The project comprises of extending 348m long main connections and constructing 6 inspection chambers, in addition to accommodating residents' needs by diverting the sewerage extensions from private properties and instead implementing a modern network that has the capacity to accommodate sewerage flow directed to the network.
The BD133,673.228 project was earlier awarded to Al Moayyed Contracting.
