During the quarterly meeting, HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf reiterated the importance of participation in the quality control program by all directorates at the Ministry. He also expressed his total confidence and faith in the Ministry’s qualified cadres and expertise in various fields such as Project Management and Quality Control. The meeting highlighted the Materials Engineering Directorate’s achievements, progress in the application of strategic objectives and initiatives, challenges and performance. Present in the meeting were HE the Minister, the Undersecretary Waleed Al Saei and the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Ahmed Al Khayyat.

 

In a presentation delivered by the Materials Engineering Directorate, they explained that the Directorate now has outstanding and highly qualified capabilities in the field of quality management and quality control, which qualified the directorate to act as a consultation centre in their field; taking into account the complete and integrated expertise they have in determining specifications, approving materials, and applying quality control in construction sites and building materials factories in the Kingdom.
