The Ministry of Works will begin a development project for the Sheikh Duaij Avenue / Palace Avenue Intersection next June, which will be completed in January 2013. The BD 771,426 project was awarded to the Contractor Atlas Transport Contracting and Services of Mechanical. “MoW will remove the roundabout and turn it into the intersection with traffic light signals to facilitate and improve the traffic flow in the area for the users”, said MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director, Raed Al Salah.
