MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry has completed a number of revamp works in various blocks in the Northern Governorate during 2011. Extensive coordination took place between the Ministry and Municipal Councils in the Northern Governorate to acknowledge citizens’ needs and requirements and therefore include them within the Roads Directorate’s program according to the councils’ priorities.

 

‘The BD2,800,000 million works included revamping roads and passageways in the Governorate, creating ground tanks for rainwater drainage, establishing proper parking spaces, revamping a number of main roads and other related works,’ explained Al Salah
