Ministry of Works’ Construction Projects Director Mona Al Motawa visited the new Hematology Unit in Salmaniya Medical Complex to inspect work progress. The new 4 storey building covers an area of 3334 m2 and is located on the north side of the old SMC. The building consists of 4 outpatient clinics, a reception hall, patients’ admission wards that include 50 beds distributed amongst the men, women and children wards, a day case (short stay) unit that accommodates 21 beds, in addition to the hematology unit and a conference and training room that accommodates 20 people.
