Closure of one and two lanes on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway on stages
Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs& Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, that the maintenance works of expansion joints of Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway necessitate closure of one and two lanes on stages for westbound traffic leading to Mina Salman.
The closure will be effective from Friday 17/01/2020 at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday 19/01/2020 at 05:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
Closure of fast and middle lanes on Saar Flyover on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway
Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs& Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic, as part of improvement work of Saar Flyover on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway necessitate closure of fast and middle lanes for northbound traffic leading to Manama.
“The closure will be effective on Friday 17/01/2020 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
Closure of the slow lane on Janabiyah Highway
Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs & Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic, that the installation works of electrical cables on Janabiyah Highway before Jasrah flyover necessitate closure of the slow lane for Southbound traffic and one lane will be provided for traffic movement.
The closure will be effective during weekend only from Friday 17/01/2020 at 05:00 a.m. to Sunday 19/01/2020 at 05:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
Closure of the left turn from 16th December Highway

Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs & Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, the improvement works of 16 December Highway necessitate closure of the left turn from 16th December Highway to Avenue 41.
The closure will be effective starting from Thursday 16/01/2020 at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday 5:00 a.m. for 4 weekends. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic diversion rules and traffic signs for safety of all.
Resurfacing works on King Hamad Highway at its junction with Avenue 96
Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs& Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public that Roads Affairs of this Ministry, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, as part of the resurfacing works on King Hamad Highway at its junction with Avenue 96 necessitate closure of two lanes for southbound traffic and slow lane for the northbound traffic.
The closure will be effective during weekend only from Thursday 16/01/2020 at 11:00 p.m. to Saturday 18/01/2020 at 05:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
