Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs & Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, as part of resurfacing works on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway necessitate closure of slow lane for eastbound traffic leading to Hidd and two lanes will be provided for traffic movements.
Kindly the road users of the Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway requested to use the alternative roads through Sh. Hamad Causeway or Sh. Isa Bin Salman Causeway in order to avoid traffic congestion during the work.
The closure will be effective from Thursday 23/05/2019 at 11:00 p.m. to Sunday 26/05/2019 at 05:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
