Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs& Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, that construction works of Alba Roundabout Interchange project necessitate closure of some lanes inside the roundabout and the traffic will be diverted to surrounding roads as follows:
1. Ban the left turn for the traffic movement coming from Al Muasker Highway towards Al Esteglal Highway going to Isa Town through Alba Roundabout and traffic movement will be diverted to Sh. Jaber Al Ahmad Al Subah Highway, then make a U-Turn at Nuwaidrat Junction.
2. Ban the traffic movement coming from King Hamad Highway towards Alba Roundabout and traffic movement will be diverted to Avenue 15 leading to Nuwaidrat Roundabout Junction.
We take this opportunity to kindly request all drivers to strictly adhere to all road signs in the area, in order to ensure their safety and safety of road users.
The diversion will be effective from Friday 22/03/2019 for a period of 45 days, All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all
