Roads Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Huda Fakhro met with municipal council member and representative to the Southern Governorate's 2nd Constituency Mohammed Abdulla Al Khal to discuss needs of the Constituency.
During the meeting, Al Khal requested the Ministry to revamp and maintain roads in Block 814 in Isa Town, where Fakhro stated that the detailed designs for the project have been completed and implementation shall commence once the approval of all service entities is obtained.
Fakhro reiterated that the Ministry is keen to dedicate all resources to support municipal councils, considering the fact that they are essential part of the national project. She also directed officials and all concerned parties at the Ministry to collaborate with the municipal council in order to improve services provided to people and to the community.
