WORKS MINISTRY COMMENCES THE SEWERAGE NETWORK PROJECT IN NASFA 733

The Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Asma Murad stated that the Ministry has commenced work on the sewerage network project in Nasfa 733 and part of Block 743 in Sanad. The BD1,397,789 project was awarded to Down Town.

Murad explained that the project is included within the Government's Programme 2016 that aims to improve sanitary services in the Capital Governorate and provide infrastructure services for the area and create a healthy environment for the people.

According to Murad, the project comprises of extending 6.1km of main connections and 2.9km sub-connections, constructing 622 lifting stations and connecting 364 houses in Block 733 in Nasfa and houses in Block 743 in Sanad to the network.
