WORKS MINISTRY ORGANIZES A LEISURE TRIP TO CHILDREN FROM THE ROYAL CHARITY ORGANIZATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE ARAB ORPHAN DAY

The Ministry of Works organized a leisure trip to children from the Royal Charity Organization on the occasion of the Arab Orphan Day. The trip included taking 18 orphan kids from the Organization to watch a cartoon movie at the Bahrain City Centre’s Cinema and providing a meal to them. Present at the trip were MoW’s Head of the Organizational Culture Committee and Assistant Undersecretary of Technical Services Eng. Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat and a number of supervisors from the Royal Charity Organization. Al Khayyat welcomed members from the Organization and the present kids; expressing appreciation towards the efforts extended by the Organization for the sake of charity work and social solidarity in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
He also reiterated the Ministry of Works’ keenness to participate in similar events and activities and provide care to all segments of society, especially the orphans. ‘We are very pleased to be part of this event, which has made those orphan kids happy and has drawn a smile on their faces. The Arab Orphan Day is a reminder to the society that we all should take care of orphan kids, who deserve love and attention,’ said Al Khayyat. ‘The Kingdom of Bahrain has certainly achieved a lot regarding caring for the orphans, especially through the efforts of the Royal Charity Organization, which has become a model to the GCC counties.’ he added.
