VALUE ENGINEERING CONFERENCE KICKS OFF TOMORROW

HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf is to open the International Value Engineering Conference tomorrow morning; Monday, September 8, 2014. The Ministry of Works is patronizing the conference believing that value engineering is extremely important for any vital project and helps implement high quality governmental projects with less cost. The conference will take place during 8-9 September 2014 and will feature a number of specialized and renowned experts internationally and locally. The first day of the conference will focus on the recent developments in value engineering and its importance in the telecommunication, petrol, gas industry and manufacturing industry. The second day will highlight experiments and a number of workshops. The Value Engineering Conference is considered to be one of the biggest and most important conferences in the Middle East, as it feature various research topics and participants.
 
One of the key speakers in the event is Save International Chief Executive James Bolton. Save International is a renowned specialized organization that provides specialized engineering professional qualifications in the field. Also, George Washington University will participate in the conference. The conference, which is organized by Origin Consultations, Logistic Institute and the Ministry of Works, will be headed by Eng. Abdul Elah Al Qasimi, who has vast experience in the field of engineering and a long practice with both the governmental and private sectors.
