MoW’s Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat received a delegation from Kawader Program for the Preparation for Top Management Program, which aims at developing leadership skills. The delegation, headed by Manager of the Leadership Development Program at the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Khalid Al Eid, was visiting the Ministry for the second time. Present at the meeting were also MoW’s Information Technology Director Hisham Sater, Human Resources Director Mahmoud Abdul Rahim, Chief of Computer Technical Services Section and member of Kawader Program Ghada Abdul Rahim and a number of employees from the Ministry.
The delegation’s visit aimed to get acquainted with the Ministry’s experience in the field of information technology, communication and developing the Bahraini cadres, in addition to benefitting from their expertise in green technology in construction and electronic applications. Al Khayyat welcomed the delegation and commended the prominent role that BIPA plays in preparing qualified Bahraini cadres and leaderships. He also highlighted the constant communication and support amongst the Ministry and other service entities at the Kingdom, which contribute to achieving the objectives of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. The meeting highlighted the Ministry’s strategy, plans, programs and ways of exchanging expertise in Government work. At the end, the delegation extended thanks to the Ministry for their efforts in developing infrastructure at the Kingdom and providing high quality services to Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
