WORKS MINISTRY ACHIEVES 53% PROGRESS IN THE PAVING OF DIRT ROADS IN BUSAITEEEN 228- PHASE 1

MoW’s Acting Roads & Maintenance Projects Director Eng. Fathi Al Fari’a revealed that the Ministry has achieved 53% progress in the paving of dirt roads in Busaiteen 228, Phase 1, which is planned to serve 645 residential units in the area and connect it to the roads network. According to Al Fari’a, works involved in the project commenced in April and are progressing very well. Work comprises of asphalt paving to Road 2830 and environs at a length of 3.6km. Once the project is completed, the total percentage of paved roads in Busaiteen 228 will amount to 82.80%. Work also includes implementing limited storm water drainage networks, lighting, traffic safety works and related civil works. The BD495,153 project was earlier awarded to Bahrain Motors.
