WORKS MINISTRY HOLDS ORIENTATION DAY FOR THE NEWLY EOMPLOYED

The Ministry of Works organized an orientation day for the newly employed members at the Ministry, at which a number of staff who have recently joined the Ministry participated. The event introduced them to the Ministry’s mission, responsibilities and the most important projects implemented by the Ministry. During the meeting, Human Resources Director Mahmoud Abdul Rahim welcomed the new members and later introduced them to the Ministry; describing it as the organization responsible for providing high quality infrastructure services to the people of Bahrain, including roads, sanitary, construction and technical services. A number of specialists at the Ministry’s different sectors later briefed the employees on the Ministry’s sectors and organizational chart, after which staff were allowed to ask questions and raise any enquiry they may have.
 
The following day, the staff was taken a field visit to Wadi Al Sail Primary/Intermediate Schools Project at the Southern Governorate, where they were closely introduced to the project, which will consist of 2 Primary and Intermediate Girls and Boys Schools. Also, the employees were taken to Sitra Sewage Treatment Plant, where they learned the treatment process and ways of benefiting from treated water in Bahrain. Finally, they visited the Roads Revamp Project in residential blocks in Sanad, which comprises of 3 phases. At the end, the newly employed members extended thanks to the Ministry for the invaluable information they learned about the Ministry.
