Under the patronage of HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, the Ministry of Works celebrated the retirement of 42 employees from various sectors and departments. The celebration was attended by CSB’s General Manager of Human Resources Development and Performance Ahmed Yousif Abdul Rahim, Social Insurance Authority’s Vice President of Insurance Affairs and a number of MoW’s senior officials. At the beginning of the ceremony, MoW’s Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat welcomed the Minister and attendees; reiterating the importance of the event as an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to the retirees for their efforts, loyalty, commitment and perseverance throughout their long years of service at the Ministry. ‘I extend sincere thanks and appreciation to all of our honorees, who have truly left their marks on the Ministry by being committed and honest employees; sparing no effort to improve the Ministry and contribute to its quest for success and providing better services to the people,’ said Al Khayyat. Mr. Jawad Al Ekri delivered a speech on behalf of the retirees, in which he extended thanks to the Ministry and expressed pride at being a member of the Ministry all those years. At the end of the ceremony, the Minister presented the retirees with thank you certificates and gifts and had commemorative photos with them.
