WORKS MINISTRY RECEIVES THE SECOND OMANI DELEGATION BATCH

As part of its efforts to spread knowledge culture and societal partnership both on the internal and external levels, the Ministry of Works received the second batch of the Omani delegation, headed by the Chief of Training Relations Department Mr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al Ragadi and accompanied by representatives from the Bahraini Civil Service Bureau.
 
The delegation is visiting Bahrain to view the expertise of Bahrain’s Ministries on various levels, especially the Ministry of Works’ model in strategy management. During the visit, Strategic Planning & Quality Management Chief Raja Al Zayani delivered a comprehensive presentation on strategy and quality management at the Ministry of Works, its mission, vision and objectives. She also highlighted the important role that the Ministry plays in providing public works services and contributing to the economic and social development in the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing a better life the people in Bahrain. Al Zayani also referred to the Ministry’s best practices in the field of strategy management; explaining how that enabled the Ministry to achieve many successes on various levels.
 
In her presentation, she reiterated the importance of strategic planning and quality management and the Balanced Scorecard Methodology, which managed to enroll the Ministry in the Hall of Fame since 2009. According to Al Zayani, the Ministry’s strategic initiative in quality management managed to earn them the ISO 9001 Certification for 4 years in a row. The Omani delegation commended the Ministry’s successful initiatives and practices and invited Eng. Al Zayani to visit the Sultanate of Oman as part of the participating delegation in exchanging expertise between the two countries, especially in the field of Public Private Partnership.
