WORKS MINISTRY HOLDS A WORKSHOP ON CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING

The Ministry of Works organized a workshop on critical and creative thinking, which was attended by all Ministry’s staff. The workshop was presented by Human Resources Directorate’s Head of Career Development Mohammed Al Zayani. At the beginning of the workshop, Al Zayani welcomed the attendees; reiterating the Ministry’s keenness to organize workshops and training courses that help staff improve their skills and thinking, in addition to contributing to problem solving in a creative method. Al Zayani shed light on the concept of thinking and types of thinking, critical thinking and its components, in addition to highlighting the characteristics and skills of both critical thinking and creative thinking. According to Human Resources Director Mahmoud Abdul Rahim, the workshop aimed to introduce the attendees to the concept and types of thinking and ways to benefit from them, the difference between critical and creative thinking, ways to activate thinking, the importance of thinking and its impact on people’s lives. At the end of the workshop, the attendees extended thanks to Mr. Al Zayani for all the valuable information that the workshop provided; hoping for similar beneficial workshops in the future.
